Sims Advertising has digitalized The Children’s Aid Society of Hamilton (CAS) Community Report for the second year in a row. The annual report is available online in an easy-to-digest landing page format – with a matching downloadable PDF – that includes dynamic and interactive elements to bring the CAS’s content to life on the screen.
The 2021-2022 CAS Community Report is centred on six focus areas, and the impact each had on the local community in the past 12 months. Each section is clearly defined on the landing page and supported by engaging stories, quotes and insights that reflect CAS’s vision to provide a community where every child is a gift to be valued, nurtured, and kept safe. The report concludes with an interactive ‘Stats at a Glance’ section.
Sims designed the digital annual report website with important elements of web design in mind. Using a subdomain, the mobile-friendly landing page was built in WordPress as a stand-alone site that links to and from the main Children’s Aid Society of Hamilton website. A quick-link menu is easily accessible through an anchored top menu on a desktop, which features a seamless auto-scroll, and a compact side menu on mobile devices. A language translator is included on the website to enable the user to flip between English and French if required.
